Michael has over thirty years of business experience, building his family financial services business from a £2 million turnover business with 40 employees to a £23 million turnover business with 170 employees.

Gary Lumby MBE – Chairman (non-executive)
Gary brings a wealth of experience to the Commerce Intelligence Group both in terms of his industry experience and wealth of contacts. Gary is currently director of small business banking at Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank. His role includes responsibility for all small business banking covering 150,000 small business customers across the UK. He is responsible for all aspects of strategy, performance, distribution and people.

Karl Wilson – Managing Partner (commercialisation and due diligence)
Karl started his career in Leeds University transfer technology spending two years commercialising innovative technology. He then spent twelve successful years managing marketing and business development for high tech consultancy companies culminating in running the executive search business for the world’s largest recruitment company. Karl specialises in:

Richard Norman – Managing Partner (coaching, consultancy and business turnaround)

Sonia Saxton – Senior Associate (business coaching)
Sonia specialises in delivering career management programmes that achieve results. With over twenty years experience working on group and individual performance issues, she is known for her talent in getting specific results you can measure, achieved by respecting the unique needs of each individual.
Qualifying as a trainer with the Institute of Personnel and Development, she went on to study neuro linguistics. Sonia qualified as an international practitioner, then studied at the NLP University in Santa Cruz, California where she qualified as a leadership and business consultant and master practitioner in neuro linguistics.
Sonia then studied in Copenhagen to qualify and register as an international trainer, and every year, successfully runs a certification programme in 'facilitating change' for a select group of career professionals.
